Andy's toys in the bedroom not only feel safe because used properly. They also feel pity, because for little Andy, toys are an important part of the joy of a child's imagination. Eleven years passed since Toy Story 2, Andy has graduated High School, and went to college; Woody et al have to meet the harsh reality that they are no longer important.
